DATA GOVERNANCE STATEMENT


  1. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The following terms should be understood as follows:

Website – the website at the address https://marsieparts.pl belongs to Marsie Sp. z o.o.

User – each physical person, legal person or entity without legal personality or with legal capacity, who or which uses the particular functions of the Website.

Personal data (as it stated in GDPR) – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Cookies – small blocks of data created by a web server while browsing a website and placed on the user's computer or other device by the user's web browser.

IP address – the individual number of each computer connected to a computer network.

GDPR – the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, Official Journal EU L No. 119, p. 1), commonly referred to as GDPR (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

Marsie Sp. z o.o. uses cookies for several purposes:
o to make the https://marsieparts.pl website work faster and to adjust the content of the website to the users preferences;
o to identify users, in particularly to recognise the device of the website user and display the webpage accordingly adjusted to their individual needs;
o for the correct operation of the system and ensure the operation of the site, including protection from DDoS attacks.

Marsie Sp. z o.o. collects and processes users personal data in accordance with the GDRP and other relevant acts. We obtain users data primarily in connection with business relations established, for example, when user submits a request, places orders or
enters into agreements with us.

Marsie Sp. z o.o. has appointed a Data Protection Officer who may be contacted on all matters regarding personal data processing. The Data Protection Officer ensures the transparency of the processed data, in particular by informing about the personal data processing at the time of their collection, including the purpose and legal basis of the processing. The Data Protection Officer shall ensure collecting the data only to the extent necessary for the indicated purpose and its processing only for the necessary period of time.

5. PURPOSES OF DATA PROSESSING
o Communication
If a user wishes to contact us via the form on the website, we ask for first and last name, e-mail address and telephone number (optional).

o Entering and executing agreements
If user places an order, we ask for (company) name, e-mail address, address, payment details and phone number (sometimes). This information is required to process the user’s order, to issue and store invoices and other accounting documents and to have processed as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Users transfer their personal data freely, but if the data required for the executing of the agreement is not transferred, it is not possible to conclude and perform the agreement.

o Improvement of our website
We are constantly working to improve our services. To achieve these goals, we may contact you without any obligations to ask you if you would like to participate in a customer survey.

6. LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING
The legal basis for your data processing are the following:
o users consent
o the necessity to perform an agreement to which user is a party or to conduct activities prior to concluding an agreement with user
o reasonable lawful interest of the Data Controller or any third party.

7. DISCLOSURE OF THE PERSONAL DATA
Users personal data may be disclosed to external entities, such as state authorities or entities authorized under special regulations; entities providing services to the administrator in the field of IT systems, accounting, audit and tax services as well as consulting and legal assistance. These entities process data on the administrator’s instruction and on the basis of appropriate entrustment agreements.

User can request for access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of personal data as to withdraw consent for processing. The request should be replied within 30 days. In a term of delay, we shall inform you of the reasons for the delay. A reply shall be provided by post, unless the request was made by e-mail or unless a reply was requested.
